Kristy Ross, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, serves as a school counselor for Pryor Public Schools. Kristy is an accomplished educator with 24+ years of experience working in the public school system. She is an advocate for the outdoors, focusing on creating more sustainable areas that function for long-term recreational use for citizens of all ages throughout the Cherokee Nation.
Kristy was born in The Panama Canal Zone and grew up in Murphy on her family’s cattle ranch, which is still active today. Kristy and her husband Keith are proud parents of 3-children and 4-grandchildren.
Kristy holds a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Health, Physical Education, and Safety from Northeastern State University. She is passionate about exploring the outdoors, cycling, and cheering on her kids and grandkids in their life-long pursuits.
