Taylor Armbrister is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation, which is home to more than 460,000 resilient Cherokees. He grew up in Kansas, Oklahoma, where he learned the importance of community and culture from an early age. As an alumnus of several Cherokee youth leadership programs, Taylor’s dedication to his people is unwavering.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Native American Studies from Dartmouth College and later graduated from the Cherokee Language Master Apprentice Program. Presently, he works as a curriculum specialist, conducting various Cherokee language projects within the Language Department of the Cherokee Nation. Taylor currently resides in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
