The Online Payment Portal will be unavailable from Friday, November 8, 2024  until  Wednesday, November 13, 2024 for maintenance.

The Cherokee Nation Office of Child Support Services may request an employment verification form to be completed by your office in accordance to 43 U.S.C. 309.95 which requires federally funded child support programs to use all available resources to locate absent or alleged parents. The information requested will be used solely for the purpose of enforcing state and/or tribal statues regarding child support and will not be used for commercial purposes or private gain. The release of this information to our IV-D Tribal Child Support Agency is authorized per 5 U.S.C. 552a (b)(7).

  • What?
    • A request to verify an employee’s employment status, wages, and benefits.
    • Employment verification requests from our child support agency also assist in locating non-custodial parents.
  • Why?
    • Child support agencies need specific and current information to establish or modify orders.
    • You must respond promptly and as fully as possible when you receive a verification request.
    • Complete information requested in letters, subpoenas, state-issued forms, or attorney requests
