Grant Services is comprised of two branches: Grant Development and Grant Management. Grant Development is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and submitting all applications for external funding for the Nation. Grant Management is responsible for the reporting, compliance, and auditing requirements associated with any awarded funds. The Grant Services department serves internal Cherokee Nation departments and programs with the goal of increasing their chance of success when applying for funds, and ensuring their awarded funds are managed in accordance with applicable regulations. The Grant Services team assists with applying for and managing hundreds of millions of dollars every year for the Tribe. These funds support services provided to our citizens by every department of Cherokee Nation.
For those organizations seeking grant funds from the tribe, please visit Cherokee Nation’s Community and Cultural Outreach department.
