Ramona Hittlet, Cherokee Nation citizen, resides in Vian, Oklahoma. Born in Tahlequah, moved to New Mexico and returned to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma State University, creating a life-long allegiance to the Pokes.
Ramona returned to Northeastern State University and completed a B.S in education. She then began working with Cherokee Nation in the Early Childhood Unit. She worked in this field for a rewarding 28 years, and now has been working as a Grant Development Specialist since 2022. Ramona finds that assisting a program to apply and secure a grant is in its own way fulfilling know that our citizens are benefiting from services provided.
Married for 10 years to Will, Ramona enjoys quilting, gardening, and travel.
